Our apps are available on iPhone, iPad, and Apple Watch. They require iOS 26 or later.
An Android version is not currently planned; but we may consider it in the future.
The apps follow a subscription model excepted basīrah which is totally free.
During Ramadan 2026, all apps will be at a lowest cost or free in sha Allah.
We use recognized astronomical calculation algorithms. You can choose your preferred calculation method according to your nearest mosque in the settings (MWL, ISNA, Egypt, Umm al-Qura, etc.).
Times are calculated based on your geographic location, which you can set manually or let the app detect automatically.
No. Your data stays on your device. We do not collect any personal data, and we do not sell anything to third parties.
The only exception: if you choose to use iCloud to sync your data across your devices, it passes through Apple's servers (encrypted).
To prevent the alarm to fire again, you must speak an invocation (dhikr) that you have chosen. The app uses voice recognition to verify that you said it correctly.
This forces you to truly wake up and start your day with the remembrance of Allah — thus untying Shayṭān's first knot.
You stop the alarm by pressing the "Labbayk" button not by speaking the dhikr aloud.
Yes. Like Apple's Clock app, Fajr O'Clock sounds even if your iPhone is in silent mode or Do Not Disturb.
Just make sure your device volume is not set to zero.
At Sakina.day we believe the adhan should not be used as it.
Actually since the believer is supposed to respond to the adhan for each sentences we did not want to take the risk to make her or him snooze it while half asleep, risking pushing her or him in a position of non obedience to start the day.
In stead we provide a set of 4 bird song that have the excellent frequency to wake the believer up.
If you are a huge sleeper toggle off the bird songs so that you'll the common radar ringtone for long minutes.
Check these points:
1. The alarm is enabled in the app
2. Notifications are allowed for Fajr O'Clock (Settings > Notifications)
3. The app hasn't been force-closed (swipe up)
4. Your device volume is not set to zero

If you do not accepted all the authorisations in the first launch of the app it might be the reason.
To stop the alarm, you have to tap a button, say the dhikr chosen and walk away from your bed to go to do the ablutions.
If the app cannot track those 3 steps it's going to ring again.
The Prophet ﷺ said: "When one of you sleeps, Shayṭān ties three knots on the back of his neck. With each knot he ties, he says: 'May the night be long for you. Go on, sleep.'"
These three knots are untied by: the waking invocation (1st knot), ablution (2nd knot), and prayer (3rd knot).

It's up to you to reflect on your deed without the guided questions. To do so just press play when you open the app and tilt your iPhone to make the bubble move on the heart shape, and in your mind ask the questions you know you have to answer about it.
No. Bayān is not a mushaf or a Qur'an reader. It's a reading companion: it captures, organises and revives what you learn elsewhere — your books, classes and audios. You can of course record a verse, its sūrah and the benefit you draw from it, with its exact reference — but the recitation itself stays in your Qur'an. Bayān begins where the book closes.
